The 2nd annual Mad Hackers event will take place on Saturday, June 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the CityCenter Danbury Green. The Mad Hackers event is produced by the City of Danbury Economic Development Office and will be a day of Innovation, Technology, and Social Media. More details may be found at www.MadHackers.com.

Lots of great food! In addition to the mini food truck rally, there is food available at local restaurants like Two Steps, Bick’s Burgers, Ortegas and more.
Parking is in the Patriot Garage and is only $3 for the entire day.

Proceeds from MadHackers day will benefit the non-profit Danbury Hackerspace (www.danburyhackerspace.com) opening at the new Innovation Center at 158 Main Street. The Danbury Hackerspace is a new technology center where you can learn about technology like 3D printing, programming, art, electronics, and manufacturing. The Hackerspace also has a coworking space where people can come down to Main Street and work with other people. The Danbury Hackerspace is part of the downtown Danbury renaissance.
