Join us as we learn to use various small cheap computers like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Netduino, Beaglebone, and more. We’ll start by exploring what is available, how much they cost and what they can do. Then we’ll explore how to program and make them do cool stuff. Later, if there is interest, I’ll discuss how to design a real-time control application and implement it with an interface to control things in the real world. This is going to be fun. First meeting will be Thursday, January 15th at 7pm in the DACS Resource Center. If all goes well, meetings will continue monthly on each third Thursday. This first meeting will be open to non-members. If you plan to attend, please RSVP. Space is limited.
