- August VTC Videos Online
The August VTC videos are on APCUG’s YouTube Channel. To be notified as soon as the videos are uploaded, you might want to subscribe to the Channel – just click on the red Subscribe button. You do not need a Gmail account to subscribe to a Channel.

You will also find them embedded on APCUG’s website:

We hear more and more that groups are using the videos for a general meeting. Sometimes they start using them when the speaker doesn’t show and they need to quickly fill the hour presentation time. One group used several as a basis for summer classes for their members — see Q3 Reports at: http://apcug2.org/reports/
- Save the Dates!
The 2016 VTCs will be held on: February 20, May 7, August 20, and November 5. If you are comfortable giving presentations to your group and/or other groups, why don’t you volunteer to give one via a VTC?
We are using Zoom and all you need to do is share your screen and give your presentation. Q&A is handled by the moderator/host at the end of the presentation and it will be uploaded to YouTube for other groups to use.
How much time does it take? You already have given the presentation (PowerPoint, Impress, Keynote, Slides, etc.) so it is ready-to-go. Want to do some hands-on demo during your presentation or show a video – easy to do with Zoom.
There is a short training session on how to use Zoom and then an hour of your time on a Saturday to give the presentation – all in the comfort on your own home. Please get in touch with Judy Taylour (jtaylour (at) apcug.org) if you would like to take the next step in sharing your tech knowledge with others. We’d all like to learn about your favorite program(s), tech subject, etc.
